DNA Structure and Replication
This is the structure for DNA which is a double helix. DNA is the genetic material that is found in chromosomes. And all genetic material has to be able to replicate so that it can be passed on to the next generation, store information and undergo mutations that provide genetic variability. For this DNA structure I used pipe cleaners.
This is a model of DNA replication. This means that each new double helix is made of an original strand and a new one. Each new cell gets an exact copy of DNA when cells divide. The original strand serves as a template.
